Professional Lawn Mower

Roots in the Cove, Inc. is a 20 year old established landscape installation and maintenance company with a growing clientele and looking to fill NEW Seasonal Full time positions for spring 2025. As a member of the Roots in the Cove team you perform lawncare maintenance at high levels of quality and service. Specific Responsibilities:

• Operates an automatic truck to tow a trailer.
• Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to commercial zero-turn mowers, blowers, push mowers, and line trimmers.
• In slow mowing times you may perform landscape maintenance duties such as but never limited to, weed control, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning
• Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, hedge trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and tillers
• Performs landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding
• Assists employer with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available
• Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the employer
• Performs other duties as required

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED (or current student status)
• One year experience in this or a related field is not required but a plus
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record
• Normal work week is Monday – Friday (7:30am-4pm) with rare possibility of a Saturday work day. (35-45 hours per week)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
